Wanted some 650sx general help

Hey i wanted some 650sx general help. Does anone have any ideas to make my 1991 650 go faster? and I just recently purchased an ocean pro vortex and was wondering where i would find a cover (or wrap as they are called) to prevent water from entering my engine when i dive and do tricks? Any help would be awesome thanks Kevin

You're looking for what's called an outerware. Blowsion sells them, as does just about everyone else...usually around $15 a piece. I've recently seen some wamilton one's one ebay. As for advice to make your ski faster, pipe, carb, and prop will give you the most bang for your buck.

sweet thanks. Another question I in interested in a new impeller. What would you recommended I ride a 1991 650 sx. Also how hard is it to install one of those im pretty handy but have no real mechanic training of any kind.

you'll need the impeller tool to get the old impeller off with out damaging your pump or impeller.20 bucks from kawasaki.the pump comes out real easy.i don't know about the 650sx but on my x-2 the impeller is normal thread and not reverse thread and i put a 9/17 skat track prop im my ski and it made a hell of a difference.all i need now is a pipe and carb and i'm done for now.

I sunk my ski today. I then took the engine aprt and pored premix gas through it is there anything eles that i should do before i put it back together?

The 650 prop is standard thread...same pump and components as the x2. I run a solas 13-18 and it worked great.

What do you mean you sank it? Did you fill the engine with water?!? If so, you need to get it out ASAP and get it running or your crank will lock up.
