Wanted (found): pro tec half girdle

Want to add a girdle to a stock head. I think Pro Tec was the only company to make these but not sure, anyway if you've got a girdle that can be added to a stock head, I'm interested.

Thanks I'll look into it. I think Group K may have made them (still making?) also, I contacted them to ask.

In the mean time maybe somebody has one sitting around that they'd like to part with, would be great to find one used and save a few bucks.

Group K really don't like o-ring heads so they are proponents of the half girdle on a modified stock head, in the 845 writeup they say something about Pro tec no longer making them so they started making their own...but that's like ten years ago and the website is not exactly updated often so who knows. I sent an email.

Still hoping to find used, also might just make my own and use some Waxhead girdle hardware, it's not a super complicated part.

5-8mm longer stainless bolts, add $10.
3-10mm stainless studs, add $15.
