This software is expensive and while users may not see it, vbulletin made some huge changes with the new version that have broken a lot of things and/or made it very difficult to modify. Things like removing hooks, the template system, etc are big deals to webmasters. Also, many features they promised have not been added.

Thats why you get the big bucks.

dunno, I don't do this 24/7 so I haven't had time to mess with some of the issues pointed out, maybe after the new year if we do.
