Blaster Wamiltons waveblaster hood

Okay, thanks. I had been considering making my fiberglass seat to be covered with 25mm hydroturf padding and then cloth all glued down. I was hoping to make it easier to change the cloth like an OEM seat but had not been able to figure out a good way to do it. Thought maybe they had a creative solution here but I guess not.
Basically this seat was designed for racing and 1100 conversions. It was created alongside their new aftermarket hull that Sam Nehme runs. Its a minimalists approach as you never really sit in a race situation. If you are looking for something that is smaller and more out of the way this isnt it. I would recommend the 701 ind. Seat. Hope this info all helps.

Do you think they would hold up in surf?
Can absolutely attest to the quality of this product. Been running one for about 2 years now and they are bullet-proof. Again as I said before, not a lot different size compared to stock, but a ton lighter and the one piece design makes working on the ski a breeze. Only downfalls would be a higher potential for water intrusion through the hood but that could be solved with some frog-skins or hoses to divert air/water intake flow. As far as durability....the stock hull will probably come apart where the latch bolts in the rear before any part of this hood fails...
