Wamiltons Hood With Xmetal Pole

Is anyone running this combination? I Just got my pole today and it looks like it is a lot lower than the nose at the pivot point. The Wamilton stuff looks good with the AC pole because it is higher but it looks terrible with the Xmetal. Does anyone have a picture I could see? I am anal about the fit of the nose around the pole.

Mine is a Lenzi hood but came from Wamilton. I guess he was making them for Lenzi at one point. I am not sure how all that worked I got if second hand obviously. Anywho it looks like the same height as the wamilton hoods I have seen up close. here is a pic of mine with the x-pole, lines are perfect.

My nose piece looks more like Gump's, however I raised it up to follow the contours of my AC pole. Now it sticks up about 1/2" over the front of the pole. I just chopped about four inches out of the nose piece and I am going to re-glass it to follow the lines of the Xmetal pole. There must be a few different types of Wamiltons nose pieces. I must have an old one.

Powder mine looks a little different than yours. My nose covers the bracket a little, your hood gets wider where it meets the nose.
