i saw a vxr pro for sale and im wondering how much of it could be swapped to build an sj it has a protec head and pipe

almost all of it swaps over. Buy it if its cheap. Only thing you will have to switch is the direction of the outlet on the protec pipe.

I bought one for like 500 to do the swap. You can use the motor,Ebox, midshaft housing (minus the shaft), pump (minus the prop and shaft) Pretty sure the motor mounts work in a SJ too. The finger throttle. Think that is about it. But if you can get it for a good price then well worth it.

yep my entire engine came from a vxr pro i have a blaster pro tec pipe in my sj all i did was cut it and reweld the outlet on the pipe 90 degrees its worth it plus you get and extra pump and e box in case yours goes bad
