vin check??

anyone know of a site that i can check the vin on two skis in california for free? i dont really wanna pay 20 bucks to see if its stolen. you would think like dmv would have something like that but they dont.

ya i know i think im gonna give the vin#'s to my friends dad hes a cop so woull seeee. thanks....

I contacted licensing here in WA and they said you can call them and they will answer "yes" or "no" questions or you can call the local police.
