Freestyle VForce Reeds Gap - Service Limit

I'm sure this has been posted before but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I have a gap in my Vforce reeds on most of the pedals. The gap isnt horrendous by any means, id say less than a mm on each on but Im wondering what the limit is on these and if I should replace the pedals or try to flip them or something?

Thanks guys!

Service life is something along the lines of about 75 - 80 hours. They really start to wear along the sealing surfaces and you can't see it until you take them off. From there they split along the edges inwards

Well i have no idea how many hours are on them but based on the condition of the cages and rust on the screws Id say they easily have that much. That being said I presume it would be in my best interest to get new ones?

Can you flip them?

I read somewhere that you could flip them but I honestly have no idea. Could just be someone that had no idea lol.

By the time they are worn enough to have a gap the clear coat over the carbon along the sealing surface of the cage is wiped out. I have a bunch of pictures of mine I'll dig up the thread

I would appreciate pictures, Ill take mine off tonight and post pics to get your opinions but I feel like itll be a "change them yesterday"-type response lol

The instructions when installing new say something about installing them whichever way has no gap. Probably work well enough to get a couple more rides out of them. But not a long term solution.

Yeah there it is. Service life is 60 hrs as per v force. After swapping the petals 2-3 times my composite cages are wearing also. A friend of mine broke his cage separating them (vf3) he contacted them and they sent him a new cage(lifetime warranty) the petals are not lifetime and need replacement.

Here they are. Not as bad as I originally thought but not great. Two pedals are chipped at the tips but the chips don't touch the sealing surface. Would you guys change them out? Or say screw it and run em for the season?

How can you tell what make they are ? I know vf3 snap together but wasn't sure on vf1 to vf2

A little different design here and there, but easiest thing to notice is the bar holding down the reeds is metal on VF1 and it is plastic on VF2.
