Freestyle Vforce 3's vs 2's

Is there an advantage over the Vforce 2's vs the 3's? It seems more people prefer the 2's. Which would work better for my Jetworks bigbore with dual 44mm blackjacks?

I already have an R&D intake and I'm debating on filling the crossover

I was wondering the same thing. I have the VF 3's and wondering if the 2's are better since thats the ones most people talk about. Do the 2's come with the "stuffers"?

Does anybody know if BlackJacks can be mounted "backwards" The manifold that XJCrawler is talking about and the Boyesen intake both have the the throttle cable on the opposite side as stock, I know XMetal likes there carbs mounded backwards but the Blackjacks?

Ya that's exactly what I'm talking about, the way Art has your set-up is opposite the way chuck did my set-up
Thanks for that picture!!

isn't the bomb site removed on a black jack?

the reason chucky flips his carbs around is to get the bomb sites toward the outside of the motor, giving the fuel/air the most gentle curve into the motor possible.

Correct, there is nothing in a blackjack besides the throttle plate. He drills 12 holes around the carb an that's what atomizes the fuel. No restriction as far as a bombsight or anything on a blackjack.

1,2 or 3 is better than stock design. even kawi cages are better than the oem ones. v-force has just made them a bit better each time i think. 1's are getting difficult to find petals i am sure. probably a safe bet to stay away from them unless you get extra petals with it. make sure you get it cheap, it is old. v2 are not extinct. buying new? why not get the newest edition without the screws? the 3's do mount up different than the v2's. find out about that, so you know your intake is going to work.

Just ask Art and he'll tell you he does not like the V3's and to go with the V2's. He will also tell you to fill the cross over tube. If you dont believe me, just call him.

I just installed vforce 3 and with brand new reeds I can still see light through them. They don’t seem to seal all that well. Has anybody else ran into this problem?

You put new pedals on v3 cages ? Reason I ask is I watch a video that said the pedals are curved and curve goes towards the cage

Yeah I installed new reeds on v3 cages. I did not see that they had any curve to them though.
