VFORCE 2 carbon reed imperfections

I bought two new VForce reeds. One is completely flat, but the other is slightly twisted. When I place them both on the table, one lies flat and doesn’t move at all, while the other wobbles slightly. It’s as if someone grabbed it from both sides and twisted it a bit. Should I be concerned about this? I am worried about the seal between the reed cage and the DASA intake manifold.

Are you sure that the sandwich effect you mentioned will occur with the VForce 2? I think this happens with the VForce 3, while in the VForce 2 version, the primary clamping is achieved through the two M5 screws that secure each of the reed cages. The intake manifold will probably be in direct contact with the crankcase, with only a gasket in between. This likely won't clamp the reed cages in the VForce v2 version.

VForce 3 does sandwich. Vf2 no.
Those will likely flatten out when you bolt them down. Heat them up a bit with a heat gun before and it may help them take shape. A little 1211 on the reed cage gasket wouldn't hurt either.
