Vendors that sponsor this sight?????

I know there are adds scrolling at top of page, but surely there are more than that sponsoring this sight or advertising on it. I came in to look for links to TBM and X-metal and see nothing? I very well could be missing the obvious here, so someone please point me in right direction for the list of vendors.

I am just curious as to why more companies dont advertise here? Is it X-h20's deal or are vendors not interested in advertising here? Its not my sight and I think the sight rocks for sure, but l think it would be a benifit to all if we had like TBM / X-Metal / XFT (which I do see on here), WCF and other awesome venders PLASTERED on the home page supporting the sight and the sight supporting them. But I might have the whole idea wrong.

But I have like 10 freinds that ride and dont get on here and you probably do too. So take 1300 and multiply that by 10 and now you have 13,000 and they have 10 freinds and so on. Cant be too expensive to through a link on here can it?

This is something that Paul/Harrison/myself have been discussing lately.

We pay ~$180/month for the hosting, plus a little more per year for domain names, and currently we have 3 paid advertisers, Lehr Performance, XFT, Battery Store. North Graphics supplies the x-h2o stickers so he gets a banner. AWA gets a banner just because. The Addiction gets one for now to help get the word out plus x-h2o is listed in the movie.

Our rate is $25/month which is very reasonable considering we average 150,000+ pageviews/day (haven't checked lately, I imagine it's higher than that based on our growth)

Ideally, I'd love to see the site costs paid for by advertisers, so we'd only need 7 to take care of it completely.

Also, I'd love to see the companies that make money on x-h2o step up and pay for advertising. They know who they are, but their customers are the ones that need to push them a little to do it. Lehr Performance and XFT are already on, and I can think of 4 more companies/people right off the top of my head that are frequent posters on the X that are getting free advertising and I don't believe they have contributed money before either.

Anyway, we still have 3 or 4 months' worth of hosting fees in the account right now, so it's no emergency or anything, but after Daytona we'll need to start raising some more money to continue.

I've tried the lower cost hosting companies, and everyone knows that we've been on like 4 servers before this one, and none of them worked out for various reasons, mainly though because we have high traffic and storage needs, so a dedicated server became a must and those are expensive.

Any other ideas?

Also, buy a calendar! We get a portion of that cost, so the more you buy, the more x-h2o makes.

Oh, and I still want to do an X-h2o freeride 'tour' shirt, and maybe just some regular x-h2o shirts to raise some money too.

Believe me, I think about this stuff a lot.

I for one would like to see an X-H2O shirt and would get one in every color except pink.

Let's say a sponsor could offer up an item once every 3 months that would be raffled off to a board member, all proceeds could go to the "server fund".
If the raffle was done just between us members than I'm sure Uncle Sam wouldn't need his cut.

All these ideas are great, but again the advertising helps both parties. I would come here before anywhere to look for parts and would refer many more here as well and simply say "go to venders and check out those links for the parts you need". Freeking $25 to $50 a month is dirt cheap for this exposure. If I had a bus. this would be a must my only question would b how big of an add can I purchase.
