Freestyle V Wake / Double Wake Backflips

Here is a quick edit I put together of me riding my Hurricane in the Big Lake Open Air double wake competition 7/26/14 organized by 106 Days of Summer on Big Lake Alaska. This was my first time hitting a v wake and trying any tricks so I was trying to keep it mellow and not hurt myself. The two boats throwing the wake were a 2014 Malibu Wakesetter and a 2014 Malibu Axis. Both boats had their surf gates deployed so the wake was massive. The pics/video don't do it justice. I'm hoping to do a lot more v wake in the future and next time I'll definitely go faster and not use trim so I can clear the hole behind the wave. It was a ton of fun and I can imagine why guys like riding surf so much now. Flips are so much easier.

nice. but the wake from the boats looked better than the v-vake created. some nice boats there.

Boats need to be on the plane. Same distance as they were apart.
