UMI sj steering kit HELP

I got a umi SJ steering kit for my square. blowsion -1 plate, and the bearings. DOes everything bolt right up to the ac squarenose pole? I dont think i need the 2 round pieces, with the 4 bolts holes in them. Those are for a roundnose


Or will it just not work? Let me know before I open it...

uh, the square nose UMI Kit is Different from the Round Nose Kit, which one do you have???

I looked on UMIs site and they look the same. My umi package doesnt say the difference. I do have the pre 96 i guess. I matched part numbers with the site

I guess I have to drill some holes!

yup. i didnt know that, i figured that was only for a round. o well. to the garage i go...

The UMI steering kit for the square nose and round nose are exactly the same. The reason the part number and price are different is because UMI includes a handle bar pad with the round nose kit. So if your going to run their freestyle bars with the pad on the bars, you can order the square nose kit and save yourself some money.
