Have an angled UMI throttle with a lot of slop, at the tip of the lever, probably close to a third an inch up and down play, I can use it fine, but its a bother.
Has anyone use the UMI rebuild kit from John at JSS? I've ordered from him before, and aside from miscommunications and wrong orders, he's always helped me out and gave me a good price. Does the UMI rebuild really rid all the slop? Or is it just an inevitable characteristic of an older UMI throttle?
