My gas supplier is almost dried up with race gas....
no sunnoco blue
getting extremly hard and extremly expensive to run the gas now.
my supplier said it was going to be another $100+ for a drum
pushing it close to $500... was $350 last year
He told them to F-Off
i said, you couldn't wait to this season was over....
i get 2 jugs for $85 compared to 70 last year, and he has one drum left which he said he can't give me, he has to be fair to the other racers here (modified sprint cars are in town this weekend)... i said i understand, told him what i will pay and said next week, what's not sold is mine, so tell the racers who come to buy now or forever hold their piece....
Artie gets freaked when i come and fill like 6-12 jugs at a time, and then i say it's for me ski, gives that crossed eye WTF type of look, and say yeah i am running a sort of hardcore motor
other than that...... back to regular pump gas
and even that crap is expensive...
he only has one drum or purple too..... it's becoming real political to get the gas, as the main gas supplier is closing out of the business.
I'll have to get the motor reworked by Paul in the off season......
i'm gonna miss the high compression..... love that hard snap it gives
not to mention when we go back to regular gas, it's a heck of alot easier when you travel. now i'd have to figure out what i'd do with the 20 some odd jugs in the garage
