Type of glass to use for installing footholds?

I looked at the Tech FAQ for installing footholds, but I couldn't find where anyone posted what kind of glass they used to glass in the holds. I just need to know what kind would be best for that and what type of biaxial mat would be best to put in the tray. Any help on this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm using 6 oz. 'S' glass, I'm no fiberglass expert by any means. I just read on shopmaninc.com that 'S' glass is stronger than 'E' glass so i'm trusting that they know a lot more than I.

I think I used 4oz or 6oz but I cant exactly remember. Also used couple layers of biaxial across the tray. I bought so much though, 3yards of the regular and prolly have 2 1/2 yards left and prolly 3/4 yard of biaxial

So far I got epoxy resin/hardner with west systems 404 filler to epoxy the holds in and I think I'm going to go with 6oz S cloth to glass them in and a 1208 biaxial mat to go inbetween them in the tray and a 4lb foam to go behind the holds. The only thing I'm still not sure about is do I use the same resin and hardener I used to epoxy the holds in to wet out the fiberglass or no? If I do, do I use the west systems 404 filler with the resin/hardener to wet out the fiberglass or just the resin/hardener?

Just use 2lb Foam behind the holds, its got better bouyancy. Not that FL-Cracker even uses foam....

And just use the resin/hardener to stick the fiberglass on.

attaching the holds is 2 steps.
step 1 epoxy, hardener and 404 filler mixed to a peanut butter consistancy. then secured with screws or rivets.

step 2 epoxy, hardener and glass.

use 404 only to make the thick glue paste to glue in holds before screwing them down. You can use epoxy or polyester resin on a round nose for laying glass if it is a square use only epoxy resin. No 404 filler required for wetting out glass. Two layer of glass over all edges of the holds is more than sufficient, I only use one layer myself. I have installed probably 25 sets with no issues thus far.
