Type 9 Vs. R&d Dry Pipe

Hey all you pipe guys I wanted to get some first hand opinions on the R&D dry pipe. I currently have a type 9 I have yet to install on my 83mm bore 5mm stroker motor. I have heard some good things about the R&D dry pipe also. Anyone running this pipe and how do you like it? How does it compare to the type9?

i have the rd and it makes a ton of power over a bpipe in my experience- only problem is keeping it together on a freestyle application is hard- chamber likes to separate after a nice hard pancake- after adding some mounts to the head the chamber stays on, but then the outter water jacket cracked- beefed it up some more this winter well see how it works once it warms up a little bit more- prob too much trouble compared to a bpipe, but after having the power increase its hard to go back- sorry no experience with type9- if my rd keeps giving me poop ill try a type9 and let ya know- good luck

I have only had the type 9
Its an awesome pipe with good pull every where
and its very reliable as well

R&D's work great until they crack, which they all will..............

they are not very strong........
