SX/SXi/SXi Pro two quick pump questions...

I just recently pulled off my exit nozzle to get it bored and found a pump wedge installed, should I flip this over to trim it up for a more freestyle setup or is it better just left off? Ive grown into the ski now and have little issues with porpusing and now just want the lift for jumps.
Second, I read that a 9/17 skat swirl is the way to go for low end snap, should I get a 800sxr style big hub or a standard? will it fit or do I need other mods to make it work?

Thanks for all your help, I'm a newb still lol...

I tried that but found it to lively, especially if you wanted to go flat out! In the end i totally removed it, which takes away the slight down trim which will help you with air.

I am going to try and do an x2 trim set up on mine this winter, hopefully get the best of both worlds!!

Would be worth a try though for you as its an easy change, i changed mine over on the bank of the lake!!

Have just bought a 9/17 swirl big hub for mine so will have to wait until the summer to check it out! Im sure i read on here somewhere that the big hubs will work well on the 750 pumps!?!?!?

Some one will be able to verify that im sure!!

Yes big hub 9/17 works. Yes it makes good low end, especially with a freestyle cone. Still goes pretty good on top too. Maybe I will try to pull my wedge and see how it feels. Never tried.

just did the X2 tilt nozzle (shaved), also found that i had a wedge installed on mine, turned it around for even more throw. cant wait to try it out!

Iv got a build thread kinda showing you a easy way to put trim on a sx sxi sxr. The wedge will help getting your nose up a lil bit if flipped but not really enough to shout about. Do the trim system.
That ski will never ever flip on flat water but having the trim makes the ski a blast to ride.
9/17 big hub is a good all around prop IMO. Get a stubby cone as stated or if you got the $$$ get a stuffer.
You can view my thread in the build ups.
