hi guys,
i have been doing a lot of research on impellers and to be honest seem to be getting more confused...
i have seen a re-pitched SXR impeller (10/18) with a bit of a cut back and wondering if this will be good for hitting hard at the bottom with my fx-1 kawi pump??
i have read on here someone is running the SXR impeller with the big hub pump cone and if i can afford it i want to add one of those too....
just in case it makes any difference, spec will be as follows (ski still being re-built):
61x/61x (cylinders port matched but not full on port-job)
b-pipe
head
48mm ATP carb
wetjet manifold
carbon reeds
ATP lightweight 62t charging wheel (with EPIC if it works)
am i right in thinking that the higher the pitch numbers means its more geared to top end speed? think i read somewhere that the second angle is referring to how many inches the ski should move per revolution or something? is there a basic rule i should be following when looking at impeller pitch? i know you cant compare different makes of impeller but there must be a general rule?
cheers
john
