I think im going to do sides first then butt my tray up to it. I think with my style of riding it would last longer that way. I constamtly find myself with my feet against the sides.
Another option: I layed all my underpad down first in both the tray and the footholds, then turfed the sides and front of the tray, then went back and turfed the tray. It worked for me and turned out pretty good.

That's the same approach I decided to take. I put all my underpad down and my wedge, leaving room between the edge of the gunwales and the underpad for the new turf to adhere to the tray as well. Going to try and knock out the dash and sides today, and depending on how that goes, the tray.
