On top of what mgander said, wamiltons has a very nice write up on the pre formed kit. Me personally I have the thrust lock down holds with turf kit and it is simple with these directions

Best thing you can do is get a dremel multimax with the flexible scraper attachment. Made things pretty darn easy.
