turf Opinions need asap

I bought two sheets of the "dark grey" b stock turf from HT, and am not sure if it will work. I have some black on on order but would love to use what I have. Let me know what you think

Yeah I think I can make the grey work and it would look fine but is it the best for the paint job. interesting point on the ordinary color. thanks

Just got done turfing Squids boat. Turned out looking good. I would say go with black.

I think it would look good with blue turf if it matched the blue swirls in the paint.

I have to say go with the black it will tie in with the black in the paint better the grey doesnt look bad but might end up looking like you used what you had.

nice looking ski yamasaki. I looked at the marbled turf. I ordered the black turf earlier today and just got to thinking about the decision. That is why I am trying to make a decision tonight so I can call them in the morning and cancel before they cut it or not.

Shannon, I may just have to stick that motor mount back in the garage instead of leaving it on the porch. Hrm.....

I don't think you'll have a problem getting rid of the grey.

I think the black would make it pop better, but I also agree that black is SO DONE. How about two-tone turf, like waterfreak's Build off boat or Pancake Pete's new(ish) blue boat? The two-tone looks very sharp. Maybe black gunwales and dark gray everywhere else... :dunno: Just a thought.

The black would look great up against the painted area, the grey could be used to contrast the black in the tray.

Or do a bone outline in grey turf inside the black to match the muscle/tendon theme.

I know you called the grey turf but I did not know if you wanted all of it or not. By the way the pad looks just like what I put on last time. wasn't it suppose to be thicker? So now that you have seen the grey next to the ski what do you think. stick with the black??!!??

the whole ski was started out as silver and he candied the other colors on top of it. so not really gray but silver
