Iv'e got a '94 WB. My problem is that it has a bog at low revs. After it spools up it goes like hell. Go down the lake at wot then slow for the turn and when you get back in it its just a little lazy getin goin. The mods are Riva pipe pro tek head and porting and dual carbs. I pulled the carbs just to make sure they were not gummed up(ski was sitting for a while) and everything looks ok.But I did notice while pulling them that the pulse lines were hard as rock. If they were leaking could that cause the bog? Thanks

Ive had my ski for a while now but have never done any modifying so excuse my ignorance. Where would I find the pulse line and low speed screw? Thanks,

low speed adjuster is on the same side of the carb that the throttle cable attaches to. you turn it out, counter clockwise, to richen. on the other side of the carb is the high speed adjustment.

Where would I find the Pulse Line? As far as spark plugs stock it says to use the NGK B8HS we have the B7HS in it right now it that ok or should we be running hotter or colder plugs?

No no I mean which is the pulse line. Im assuming its one of the lines coming out of the carb but which one is it? Where does it connect to/from?

So the pulse line looks but im going to change it anyways just to eliminate it as a problem. I was wondering if the spark plugs would have any effect on it? Stock is a br8hs and we are running it on a br7hs which burns a bit hotter is this ok? should I stay go hotter or cooler?

K cool so if the pulse line looks fine then its got to be the low speed screw. So ill try that when we take it to the lake next. Any other suggestions for these symptoms?

Ok so just got back from the lake and the ski ran ok for a while. It wouldnt idle at all so after some adjustment of the low speed screw it was working pretty good. Ive only got two problems occuring now. It will randomly just shut off almost like someone pulled the killswitch chord but no one has. Second it still seems to bog. It seems to not be getting enough fuel cause when its bogging and you give it one pump from the primer it kicks right in and is fine until you let off the throttle again. Anyone got any answers for me???
Thanks,
Chris
