Tubbies and exhaust

So adding Tubbies turned into quite the project. I need exhaust relocation ideas. I saw some once with the exhaust above the bond flange on the front side. Or is rear about the only option. West Coast water box has 90's coming out one both lines

Up front above the rail will work and is easy. Rear exit is a lot of work.
Only if you have the right water box. I can't find any pictures of anyone doing that but I know have seen them in the past.

Yes on a stock box you can leave an elbow off and go straight out the side , rear exhaust is a cakewalk if you know the tricks,

Cut your hole where you want it in the back with a hole saw, get a die grinder and a cupped wire brush, insert an air hose into a piece of PVC pipe, I forget the size but it's just big enough for the die grinder to fit into and it will depress the trigger when you push it into the pipe, you then use it to cut the foam out of the way all the way to the bulkhead, you will know when you hit it.

Cut your hole in the bulkhead where you want it , install whatever kind of tube you are using for the exhaust, PVC, ABS , Aluminum will all work. , seal the tube at the bulkhead, stand the ski on the nose and pour in pour foam around the tube, cut it off after it cures and glass up around the tube, I have done a bunch of them this way.

The one in the pic on my X2 has an aluminum resonator buried in there.

I think I have a stock box here somewhere, probably at my other shop. Iam going to run triple resonators with no waterbox ,The die grinder idea came from a true genius , Art Gomez @Jetworx

Pro watercraft makes sponsons with a pre made cut out for the stock exhaust outlet. I see a lot of them moved forward but still under the bondline.

I had already started before I saw your post. No spare water boxes to be had but plenty of determination. I had cut out foot bed with an oscillating tool. The pipe is in and foam should be here today.

There seems to be a lacking of information on doing this. Google just gives me a bunch of forums of people talking about rear exhaust with tubbies and the only real pictures are flat decked. @WFO Speedracer Can I use your pictures when I make an actual post about doing rear exhaust? I have seen several random pictures and most are cutting the hole deck out like I did. It got the job done but for what I was doing your method (Art Gomez @Jetworx) with the die grinder would have taken less then half the time.

sure go ahead , I know when Charles told me about I had to try it for myself, I was putting in rear exhaust and a rear scupper so double trouble , mine is flat decked and I already know that was probably a mistake, too late now lol.
