Tubbie Question....

So I picked up a new superjet that im going to build up for some surf riding, and it has the Blowsion tubbies racing version. Do they really handle that much different than the freeride versions? Is it worth cutting them off and buying the freeride version? Or should i just ride it the way it is?

I think you'll find them very similar. I'm running the race version, and one of my mates has the rec version. To be honest, if you notice the difference, you're doing better than me. I've found that it's mostly in the placement that makes most of the difference.

We fitted a race set to another friends ski and tested last night, and I swear he is about 3-4 seconds quicker around the buoys.

This pic is a good example of what they do. You can get your weight right forward where you want to to be, lean it right over and still hold it flat!

Thanks mate! Yellow ski's are quite rockin' as you know :)

If I didn't have the tubbies fitted, I'd be about 2 foot under water trying to hold that kind of power and body position through a turn.
