Tubbie hardware

What kind of screws come with the Tubbies from Blowsion?

I have a set and don't have the screws and was just going to buy SS 3" and cut them off flush inside the hull. But the way it looks regular pan heads look like they'll stick out too much as the mount points aren't recessed enough. All the finished pics I've seen of tubbies the screw points look seamless so I don't want to have bulges of filler covering the screws? :dunno:

Mine came with the hardware blowsion provides, but I have heard that most think that the hardware from blowsion are not long enough for some of those though angles. I think they are just pan heads. If you use filler just sand it down after your done, before you paint, if you are going to paint.

They're varying lenght stainless sheetmetal screws.

How come yours didn't come with any?

BTW, I didn't have any trouble at all with the Blowsion hardware. Every single one was long enough in the intended spot.

Yeah dude just use whatever SS and cut them off inside (3" is plenty). Self-tapping would probably help tremendously so you are not trying to drill as you go. You can take the screws back out and fill the holes or grind down any bulges and cracked gelcoat then fill.
