I think thats right.... the impeller is reverse threads so I believe the coupler is also, but Its been a year since I have taken one off so Im second guessing myself lol

coupler is normal threads, heat it up, much easier to remove

As stated, the impellor is the only reverse threads on your ski.

Heat it up and break it loose!

myself I use anti seize

heat up and add the wax to the threads, it sucks in like flux and you know the rest.
