Just got off the phone with Erik, looks like there will be a few skis down in Daytona if people are interested in getting in a test ride or a look at the TPE motors.

Right now it looks like testing options for people wanting to get an idea of the motor are as follows:

Todd (ChadGnarly) - TPE 964SS in Rockered B1
Mine - TPE 964SS in stock B1, running new 701 Industries QS-S suspension steering and various 701 surf upgrades
Brawler Red Demo - TPE 1105 stroker in carbon brawler, should be at flat water as demo ski
Dan Swartz (Fusion1977 & WaveDaze organizer) - TPE 964 in a glass superfreak, probably at the beach if anywhere

Other skis there with owners:

Paul Leahr - TPE 964 in Superfreak (not sure if Paul is offering test rides to all, but he is a great resource to find out how the motor is running and its capabilities.
Dan (Mindless) - TPE 964, ski will be there on display, chat with Phil Clemmons for info on the motor and its capabilities

It would be great for people who get a chance to ride any of these skis or get a close look at them to post up on this thread as to your thoughts.

Thanks, Zimmy. I will be at Lake Diaz tuning peoples Skiis the better part of the day Friday.
For those who would like to discuss the TPE, I will have my boat with me. Demos will be offered on a limited basis.

I have not attended the freeride in several years, looking forward to seeing some old friends, and making new ones!

Ask pro south or mc dog for input on the motor. A bunch rode it but I have a hard enough time remembering names when I meet someone let alone their name on here lol. Julien Herpsont from France rode it thursday and compared it to a 1200 bun he rode in thailand. Another today said more power than 1200 dasa he rode. All positive things said today about eriks 1100... except a few that felt is was just way too much. I was really un happy after my test ride because now its going to take me a month to get used to it and learn to ride my ski all over again!!

I'd like to take that 1105 for a rip sometime. The TPE 964 was a nice motor I can only imagine what the +10mm LW Powerhouse Performance Crank does to that motor.
