Well, as Skinnyman and I reached the Texas coastline last Saturday morning, after a handful of perfect backys and rolls in the first session of riding, I came up short on about my 5th backy of the morning. I nosed it in and hit bottom VERY hard in about 3 to 4 ft of water, Larry towed me back in as I quickly figured out something isn't good. Took my hood off, and noticed my driveshaft was bent VERY badly, two busted motor mounts, couplers, and coupler cover was all toast. Looked at Larry and said "WELL ! IM DONE !!" lol. Then looked at the nose of my ski and besides some stress cracks and some paint flaws in the actual nosepiece (some were already there), there was NO DAMAGE TO THE HULL! Then I remembered watching a vid of Josh Lustic doing the same thing, with no nose damage to his as well. Thanks to Bobby for the SUPERSTRONG carbon layup!!
Thought I'd share my carnage....
Thanks, Daniel
