FX-1 Trim??

I'm doing the 144 swap right now and I've got an x scream setup that I will be putting on. Even though I ride surf half the year, it will be nice for the lake over summer. Will post back once I get it all together

Here's my take on having trim for an FX useful for surf helping you get around. Useful for set up wakes ln flatwater. If you are using it for flatwater you're going to need a lot of motor and a shortened hull in order for the trim to be useful for doing backies. Unless you have a good boat throwing V wakes trim is not worth it for the average flatwater rider . IMHO

speaking of trim, kinda, anyone try the ATP nozzle on an FX1? Seems like a good control improvement for those who don't need/want trim.

I have a Protech 82mm comp nozzle and thinking of giving the ATP steering nozzle a try to see what it can do. My FX1 seems a little lazy whipping around, It feels like I'm getting the equivalent of less throw as when I had the stock pump.

I've been looking at the ATP nozzle aswell. I've been trying to figure out if i can fit one on a kawi reduction nozzle. But Im unsure what exactly the differences are between the kawi and yami nozzles. Im in the beginning phase of building my fx1 and will be using a 650 kawi pump.

Let me know if you need the drive shaft for the Kawi Conversion. i bought one a long time ago and ended up buying a hull with the 144 already.

I just completed my trim on my 144 blowsion pump. Its a protec trim that has been modded to give a little extra throw and to work with the conversion pump. I know protec is not a very good setup for freestyle compared to others but I went this route seeing the blowsion pump uses all protec nozzles and I only had to order a few parts from protec to get this to work.. It has about 20 degrees of throw atm, not much but id figure it try it and mod it again or try to make another setup work.My hull has not been shortened , just has tubbies, but im not expecting to pull flatwater flips just more so to experiment with it.
