SXR Trim on SXR worth it?

Just wanting some opinions on adding a trim system to an SXR with a stock hull. Will adding trim get me closer to landing flatwater roles and flips or is that just a pipe dream? I've got an aftermarket hood and pole but I know that's not cutting much weight. I've got plenty of power... big bore, ported, 48mm carbs, wet pipe, advent ig, LW flywheel, etc...

Does a trim system make rec riding more fun?

Trim will add complexity and with complexity comes more problems. However, if you've got some big wake, it may be what you need to get around all the way on a backflip. The only way trim will help with roles is by pulling the trim while creating a setup wake for yourself because it makes it a bit bigger. If you've tried backflips already and aren't making, it might be worth a try. If are just thinking of having it "just in case" you decide you want to backflip in the future then wait until the future to get it.

It only helped me with rolls by having the set screw out enough to tilt it up about 2 degrees all the time. Made the stock boat ride much lighter than most SXR's made flat water stabs easier than on a stock SJ, lol I bought it to incerase the size of my set up wake, but that didnt do a thing. Cable broke in two months and I never even changed it. You could probably do the same with making a 2 degree angle plate for the steering nozzle

I will admit that I did notice a greater steering authority and noticeably different (good) turning characteristics with the trim nozzle of a stock nozzle. I think this has to do with the pivot ball being further inboard and the steering nozzle being further back in the boat.
