Just wondering what size of tube you guys are putting your trim cables through? I was thinking 1" pvc.

I am just thinking for down the road. I am going to install trim. I have the boat all ripped apart now, so I might as well put the trim tube in. I am guessing the cable would be supported by the pump with a bracket of some sort, and just seal both ends with 5200??

What do you use to seal the stainless? I would guess 5200, or possibly epoxy resin???
If you aren't going to use it right away, just put vacuum caps with zip ties on both ends.

3/8 stainless or 3/8 aluminum 1 inch is a another scupper . but the location is important to what trim you are going to use .

I used 3/8" stainless (came with the ski and it had Pro-tec trim on it at the time), but brought it into the pump cavity at the top left corner so it's almost directly inline with my trim ring attachment point.
With trim, you want the fewest number of bends in your cable possible to eliminate stretch.

No specific length, it goes from your bulk head to the pump cavity maybe 18" or so.

I am so glad I have them in there. I sealed up the inside of the hull like it was a sub but I still get water in there. I drain out about a cup of water a couple times a year. There are also some voids in the bottom of the ski that lead to those drains for flow. :biggthumpup:

2 questions.......
What is everybody using to seal the cable where it comes through the 3/8 SS tube? Just more 5200 or are there options to add some type of cap like the steering cable has?

What did you use for the drain plugs? I was thinking of doing this and just using the SeaDoo type but yours look better as they don't need to be that big.

The drain plugs are 1/4" brass pipe plugs. There is also 1/2" thick 101 nylon epoxied inside the ski to accept the threads.
I was also wanting to use the SeaPoo type but there was not enough room under exhaust and scupper.
