Trim cable tube size

Ok right now my tray is removed and I will be glassing it back in this weekend but before I do I would like to install a tube/pipe for a trim cable. I do not have one right now but who knows later on. What size should I install?

I just had Kevin (Legdrag.com) install my trim system yesterday and I believe he used a 1/2 inch alum tube.

Did a super job on it also. Now if I could just learn to ride good enough to use it other then to spray friends with I'd be stoked

alright looks like 1/2" is the winner I much rather have too big then to put a tube in too small and then later on find out it was the wrong size. Thanks guys!

Run a peice of 1/2' plastic tubing from the pump, through the engine bay and up the pole (inside a breather hose ideally) that way you don't need worry about to sealing the ends (and you can pull the cable to replace really easily) - Wamilton uses this method now.
