Blaster Tray water in storage

I store my b1 outside. The tray always has water in it. I keep it fully covered with a tarp, elevated about 20 degrees, and i can dry the tray when i park it with a large sponge etc. Every rain, the water fills back up. Storing it inside js not an option.

I know this is going to greatly increase the rate in which my turf fails. What are other b1 owners doing about this? I have considered drilling a 1/8" hole in the low spot in the tray so it drains but i have not done anything with it yet.

Any thoughts or suggestions from longer term owners?

Don't mean to blow holes in your story but you say you cover it with a tarp, yet it still gets water in the footwells when it rains. Is it possible your tarp has holes in it? Only logical explanation I can come up with.

Its florida. I cover my superjet with an oem cover then a tarp, and if the nose of the trailer is not up the tray will fill up. We recently had, if i recall correctly, 22 straight days of rain.

If you think that water is getting through your tarp go to your local home improvement store and get yourself some visqueen.

I'll give that a shot before drilling any holes. I wouldn't mind the water getting through the tarp, it's really just the sun I'm trying to stop, but the poolin in the tray will become a problem if I ignore it I think.
