Last year when I ordered from HT, I got a roll of turf and they cut a piece of padding for my fx-1 tray. I did ask if they would be willing to make it a little bit wider at the bottom so I could use it to accomodate footholds. I was told that they could not do this. I needed to either buy a complete roll or just the cut-out for my tray.
I do realize that HT will sell cutouts for standups rather than complete rolls. BUT at $15 for just the tray area (and only 1/4" thick at that) and no options for those with footholds except to buy a complete roll.... I am looking elsewhere for foam.
There is no arguing though about the actual turf, I wouldnt dream of going anywhere else for that.

I would guess that most of us that are buying new turf are using footholds. I would say at least 75% of us.

I would agree. In fact I would say at least 75%.
I think it would make sense for them to offer padding for standups that can be cut down to accomodate various footholds.

Yes, I agree. Now that HT have thicker padding I might give it a shot when I turf mine again sometime soon. I used the camping pad before the thick stuff came out and it's a great substitute.
