Super Jet tray modifications

hi im swapping my blaster hull for a superjet getting bored of the blaster.
have being riding a few stand ups and the only thing i dont like is how close your feet are and makes me feel unstable i heard about some people cutting the tray and moving everything out. I have being looking for threads on it but cant find them any help would be great also going to reinforce the hull whats better carbon or fiberglass. thanks guys

thats crazy did you rip up the whole tray? thinking if i have to making a template and moulding the tray out of the ski then glassing it in is that a good idea.
also was it worth all the work cheers mate
