Doctors and chiropractors love trampolines. They keep the waiting rooms full of kids that smacked into each other, fell to the ground or got whiplash. Smaller kids, especially, are very susceptable to neck related strains and other injuries on those things.

I would never have one on my property. Ever.

Teach your kids and set rules, and have an enclosure and that stuff really isn't an issue.

Heck, ER's love jetskiers...I know I've given them plenty of business in Hawaii, Daytona, Louisville, and I think somewhere else just can't remember.

All good ideas. But remember, one person on the trampoline at a time, or something's inevitably gonna happen. And yes, the net is a must, especially where your kids are still little.

Yeah, I've given the ER and the chiropractors plenty of my $$ for my own injuries, it's my kids and the neighborhood kids I'd worry about most.

I used to love hitting the trampoline when I was at a friends house when I was a kid. I got back on one a few years ago for a few minutes and realized what a great workout they can be. I also realized how easy it is to take a wrong jump and jack your back.

I suggest keeping your tongue inside your head when jumping.

Trust me, I know - I just about bit my tongue off as a kid doing something similar.
Ever get stitches in your tongue?

I have had one for some time now...

Don't let anyone jump on it, unless you really trust them.

I don't think it translates to jet skiing that much....
It is a good workout though and does help w/ balance and toning.

to make falling off less painful a friend of mine had his dad dig a hole in the backyard and they put the tampoline in it so if you fall off the ground is not too far down

kinda need a big yard and a back hoe though
