Other Trailer Security Tips

I do a lot of trailer work and customizing for ski trailers, here are a few security tips to keep your skis and trailers safe from thieves:

1. Locking Hitch Pins, they are cheap insurance.

2. Weld your Balls to the Ball Mounts, its very easy to remove the nut on the bottom of the ball and then re-install on the thieves ball mount and off goes your trailer and skis. Balls & Mounts are cheap, so is a couple of welds.

3. Lock & Secure your skis to your trailer whether it be locking pins, cables with locks, etc.

4. Trailer Tongue Locks.

Hope you all have a great riding season!!

Thamks for the tips.

Would you be able to make custom length bow eye rods for my trailer?

It all depends if you are looking for simple round steel stock cut to length with a top/stop welded on and a hole drilled at the bottom for a pin - then yes, if you are looking for something more sophisticated my Buddy Chris at Epic Industries could probably make them up for you, he is a machinist and has access to lathes, cnc machines, etc. He is on this forum or here is his website http://epicjetski.com/
