traction mat choices

Anyone have experience with the different types of adhesive for the traction mats? Is it easier/better to use the mats with the adhesive already on them? or buy the type that use contact cement?

I've used underlayment foam that came with the adhesive under the turf and it worked fine. I've also used DAP Weldwood in the red can a bunch of times, and if you follow the directions it works great.

I prefer the contact cement over peel and stick for my skis. The adhesive backed stuff is nice for floors, etc.

Hi Niecy, I always use 3M super 90 spray adhesive. This stuff is about 12-13 dollars a can and will make it stick. Are you re-turfing your tray, and do you have footholds ??? If you do have footholds I recommend using a heat gun to shape the turf and make it alot easier.
