So after reading and watching the TPE thread I couldn't resist and had to pick up a 964. There were too many good reviews and good things being said for the overall design and concept. And I'm here to tell ya, the bang for the buck is AWESOME.
So initially I talked to Chris about my interest in getting one. He hooked me up with P&P Performance AKA Philip Clemons. Which was actually kind of funny, because Philip had asked me to give him a call on some technical pump info I needed to learn. So after talking to Philip that really sealed the deal on me ordering one up.

I think it was 6 weeks ish to receive the motor from Erik. Erik was an awesome guy to deal with too. His knowledge on 2 strokes is mind bending and this motor is an example of that. His experience has a ton of depth. He was always nice to talk with and kept me in the loop when it was being finished up. After I got the motor he called to check in. And after I got it up and running and on the water he checked in again. Not just because he's a cool guy, but he wanted to make sure everything was correct on this motor at high elevation 5,000'. I'm 30 minutes East of Lake Tahoe.
P&P Performance. Super cool guy and again, like Erik. His knowledge and experience are exceptional in the complete ski tuning mastery. (I guess these are the kind of words you use when someone is this good) His motor head skills go way beyond skis too, but that's another story. He has so much experience with so many setups and different builds, hulls etc.... So throughout the time the motor was being built I stayed in contact with Philip getting my complete setup dialed in as close as we could. Basically everything was different for me and I mean everything. Completely different ski from nose to tail. So he got my initial carb jetting, pop off, air screw adjustments and all my pump stuff figured out as well. Without having any real experience with high elevation tuning, he pretty much nailed it. I honestly can not say enough about his mad ski tuning skills. He knew all the components going in the ski and absolutely nailed it. Which as many who have built and tinkered, know how nice it is to be dialed in. With my last setup I wasted an entire summer plus a little getting it to where it was. Compression, fuel, carb settings, pump setup etc... Having been down that bumpy road and experiencing what I am now with this setup... Life is good! I can't thank Philip enough for the work he put into my overall setup. So if anybody needs to get set up right the FIRST time. You know who to hit up.
Hull - Hurricane Fiberglass
TPE
Stroke – SS
Domes CC – Not sure. Whatever Eric put in it, but they are the smallest domes he produces. One set for my elevation and another for sea level.
Compression – I'll get current numbers after I get my gauge calibrated again. But It's a pump gas setup.
CARBS – 48 FS
Main Jet -130
Pilot Jet - 125
Popoff – 22 psi
INTAKE - Boyesen intake system
PIPE – RRP
ELECTRICS – ATP Flame
PUMP – 144 Solas
PROP – 14/19 Hooker spaced tight to stator
NOZZLE – Reduction nozzle bore = 86mm / Steering nozzle 91.9mm= Medium cone
This setup on my ski is friggin awesome!! The biggest disappointment for me is all the powa wears me out faster LOL!! Make sure your footholds are set up right, or it's flying spider monkey time.
