Other Tow Sled V2.0

some may remember, I took an old wavrunner III hull and was going to use it as a floating dock, needless to say, it weighed a ton, and was more work than it was worth. So this is V2.0 its really simple, a piece of scrap lexan, some PVC pipe for bunks, pool noodles, and rope and ratchet strap. I have it on the back of my 1200 and can pull it no problem at 20 mph all day long. All I do is pull the ski up, clip it on the the back carabiner on the couch, and ride away. Only issue so far is it is a PITA to steer at low speed. The goal is to take it out to our spot off shore where we cant beach, drop anchor and use it as a floating base to tie up to, rest, and refuel. Once I know its ok in the surf, I will make some fuel racks and stuff on it.

When you pull it does the intake stay in the water so that you are forcing water through your motor without it running?

Yes, it's longer than the ski, so when you get going more than 5 mph, the sled is on a plane and the SJ is out of the water. So no water is going into the pump

cooler was a idea, but I couldn't put a Bimini top on it!

I hope to surf test it this weekend, I will try to get some action shots on it
