Christian, the guy who made your engine, is the exact reason that people don't like to give out information. If people knew how much money stuff like this takes to develop only to have some guy or an et copy it. I personally have not rode the pump, but I had a good talk with Chris Anyzeski and he spoke about it, not like a sponsored rider, but as a guy who was truly excited about how it worked. I was sold. Christian, the good stuff really costs as you know, but if you get a chance to try it and can tell how the pump is working, it will sell itself. The pro's can tell.

Erik i really like you (and i think you know that), and i think your engine design is awesome and among the very best. You know why i bought the ET engine, after my TPE900CO. I also get why you dont like ET and I cant blame you for that.

The thing about torrent pumps is, they are advertised as sooo much better than the other pumps on the market, and bla bla bla. But Torrent cant or wont tell how they compare or benchmark pumps, other that "look at all the guys riding them" (with big A$$ stickers on the hulls, like @SmittySX said, they proberly didnt pay full retail)


So if we are judging these pumps on:
1. how many people riding them
2. how good podiums the "pumps achive"

I think its possible to vote other pumps at least as good, if not better?
If you can show some benchmark test on pump effeciancy or likewise, vs. other pumps im impressed and my mouth is shut. Until then, i think its false advetising stating the calims that torrent do.

Christian, I look forward to talking with you! I think I can help you understand. I will say this, Torrent has really worked hard on improving the design of pumps and its not cheap to do. All the pumps out there are either ---welded together "cheap pumps"-- , Skat statored housings" still a Skat"---- or billet Skat copy period. There are good reasons why some are making their own housings, but Torrent is trying to improve pumps.

Christian, as a performance tuner, I have used and tested most every pump out there over the years.
I have a long standing relationship with Skat-Trak. They were the original pioneer into performance pump and drive systems. Solas, also has a long standing reputation for marine propulsion systems. Their improvement to the jet pump was merely to make a 100% stainless unit. Torrent has come into the game by changing the inner workings of the pump. How it get the power to the water. How efficiently it builds pressure to turn it into usable thrust.
Its not my place, and Im certainly not going to divulge Torrents secrets. They currently are the best pump out there, both performance and construction!
There is Very good reason the Best in the world are running them! I can tell you first hand, None of them are bought riders or tuners! Brian is not that type of person! Worlds are this week, take note to what teams are running the Torrent? They are running it because they want to Win! Because it works!

Andreo420, Well, butt hurt or not, who cares. I get it, your from Canada, run an et and Art is your man. So Art copies others work, lies about everything and your telling me I'm unprofessional. FACT, you were not in on our conversations. YOU were never a witness to anything, I WAS, but I'm bad for calling et out, I guess where your from a guy like him with no integrity is better than someone who states facts and opinions based on personal eyewitness.. He has brought nothing innovative to this sport, but only made crap versions of others hard work. DASA, XSCREAM, PHP, TPE , EME, all different, et, just a copy. BTW,, if you had the ability to get honest answers from quite a few in the industry, you hear how those who know him don't like him. I'm just not afraid to say it out loud, and I will do it when ever I want, or see him. I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU THINK OF ME, and I everything I've said of him is fact. So why would someone invest money and time to make a new product only to have "XEROX" (as named in Canada by another machine shop) just copy it. You only stand up for him because you benefited financially from him, not because he's a stand up guy. I'm not perfect and far from, but my stuff stands on its own.
This thread is about a new pump that will raise the level of performance for everyone. Torrent does not want to give out info that could used. As all things it will happen but unlike me, they're smart and will make et types work for it. I talked. I will not be silenced when I see unjust things happen, as I am now free to do so.
