top B pipe screw stripped

the ski I am looking at right now has a screw stripped on the top of a b pipe. how big of a deal is this and how would I go about fixing it?

check the other ones. The top oneis easy to drill out. costs only a buck or 2 to replace. That is if you have the tools to drill it out and retap at the next larger size. Otherwise youll need to send it somewhere to be done or find someone on here that is willing to do it for you.

Mile9c1 is the one that checked the ski out for me. I assume he checked those too. I think I can handle drilling it out and retaping it. just wondered if there was anything special I needed to be worried about.

nope - PM parrdaddy. He sells oversize screws with drill and tap.

in fact, I have an extra set of oversize ones that I don't need.

here is what i know, first you will have to buy a new bolt or set of bolts from parradady http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/4211...

he is the only one you can get the right sized bolts from, because they are a rare thread.... you will also get the tap you need with your new bolts...

then you know what to do....

you cant just through in any one bolt because they have like a tip on them that plugs the water holes in the lining...

when you drill and retap be carfull not to drill to deep....

is the head just striped or the threads, if it is just the head (where the allen wrench goes into) heat the screw up, get a pair of vice grips, clamp down on it, and slowly work it out, then replace with a replacement.
