Tom21 Goodies! SUPER nice stuff!

While I'm at it, might as well keep going with the positive reviews here for all the guys who have helped turn my ski into something I drool over.

So now on to Tom. First off, awesome products! I bought his new SN nose piece...I think the 2nd one made. I also grabbed tubbies, foot holds, and fire extinguisher front toe hold. He was super quick getting the nose piece finished up and shipped over to me. He knows how to properly package his parts too...super well protected and zero issues even if FedEx were to throw the boxes. The whole time, I get awesome communication. He texted me photos of the completed nose piece and even was in communication with me via text before I bought anything, giving me updates on the nose piece design and early photos. After getting everything, I discover what a pain in the ass it is to get turf from HydroTurf, along with precut under padding. Tom responds to my text regarding my 2-3+ week predicament with hydoturf. Luckily he had two sheets of black cut diamond AND the under padding I needed! He shipped those out to me the same day and sold them to me at a price that was lower than my overall shipped cost would have been from HT.

Add another couple weeks and I change my mind on using the custom fixed steer hood that I bought off WAB (Andy). I was so impressed with Tom's service and products, I figured I might as well make this a Tom21 decked out ski. SO a quick text to Tom and he cut me a good price on his fixed steer hood. I was expecting a 3-4 week delay to get it made...nope...he had it to me in about a week! I was shocked.

Between Tom's parts and CarterB's awesome work, the ski is done and ready for the water.

Looks good ,some nice blk graphics would look really sharp..
Is that a superjet hood latch, looks more like an x2 one ?

I failed to mention....CarterB is throwing on a nice set of black and dark gray Exotic Signs OEM looking graphics as I type this! Picking it up in a few hours :). I'll post up a bunch of photos in "my ski" section when it's all said and done. I dropped more in mods in 2 months than I paid for the ski, but it's everything I've ever wanted in a stand up thanks to Tom and Carter. Hitting Daytona to have some fun with it in the ride zone sometime next week after this hurricane passes.

As for the hood latch, that's OEM :veryhappy:

Wow...cool ski! Does he make a regular square nose hood or at least the hood liner?

Not sure about a hood liner but as for the nose, he only makes this one or one without gas gas cap access. I LOVE losing that giant rubber nose BUT I'm super fragile now so I can't get careless with the bow. I'm super picky and protective of my :):):):) so hopefully she'll stay pretty for a long time.

Looks good. Where do you ride in orlando?

I've got a buddy who lives on S. Lake Conway with an empty lot next door...it's a gated lot that all non-waterfront residents have a key to so they can go sit by the lake, launch kayaks, ect. He mows the lot and as a result, has a key so I've got access there. I have to back the truck down into the water as there's no ramp, but it works out well for access. I love the conway chain. Other than that, I hit up Moss Park. I live out in Wedgefield so Conway and Lk. Mary Jane are closest.

How about you?? My buddy Keith and I are riding at this spot on South Lake Conway Friday at 2 pm. If you're free, come join in.

Never ridden Conway yet. Mainly the butler chain in dr.Phillips and a couple private lakes that friends live on, lake rose and don't know the name of the other. Lake Conways about 15-20 mins away from me, but I'd be up for a ride there.

Thanks for all the props guys. Make sure you give Tom some love anytime you want to convert to fixed steer or for any of the other awesome products he makes.

I'll be posting up a dozen or so photos of the ski in "my ski" within the next few days once I have it back from CarterB w/ the graphics. I was on the fence about graphics since the color is AMAZING. I was tempted to get ghost reg numbers and leave it but I already bought the Exotic stuff. The combo of black and dark gray should look PERFECT. I've been infatuated w/ X2s since I was a kid...Thanks to Tom I've got something similar yet worlds better than a weak 650 X2.

Well, you guys up for a ride Friday afternoon? There's public access on North Lake Conway next to the church off Hoffner just East of Orange. I don't know how many I can have over at the empty lot before the residents get suspicious. My buddy with his FX1 and I will be there at 2 pm.... 2483 Burbank Ave, Belle Isle, FL. Empty lot with chain link fence.
