best screws and washers to use are panhead ss phillips screws w/ ss decorative washers. no snagging of the vest with those.

Cool so just screw in to the ski then kinda like self tap, or drill a little pilot hole in ski? Can you get em at lowes?

Thanks for the ans,

looks good man!

is that grey or black turf?

if grey, you think you could take a side pic with it out of the shinning sun. my boat is similar blue and i've kept the black rails but have the grey turf for it, just didnt know if i'd like the look. thanks.

definately predrill. make sure the screws dont thread into the nosepiece. you only want them threading into the top deck, so predrill the hosepiece a little larger than the top deck.

lowes or home depot should have them. i got mine at my local ace hardware.

i think i said panhead screws..... i have confused myself again. i meant flathead screws but w/ a phillips bit. in other words, the head of the screw wont have a dome on top. itll be flat but conical b4 the threads.:banghead:

We used 1" flathead stainless screws and washers that were purchased from PeP Boys.

Definitely predrill, and as Charlie mentioned, it would be a good idea to drill the cover out larger so the threads do not tap into the cover.

Charlie, Crystal is great for the guys, but my Wife and Daughter require a little grass to play on.:27:

Back on topic, Danny's ski ran like a whore on crack.:banghead: It's overheating within minutes and the heat sensor is kicking the ski into limp mode.

Plenty of water through the cooling lines, the pipe is warm but not hot, and the head is sizzling hot. Single Mikuni 44, 85 compression on milled stock head, and coffman pipe.

Definitely a jetting issue IMO as his Father is unsure of the carb's current jetting setup. Charlie recommended 35/25 (?) for the top and bottom respectively, and I recommended it be taken to WF for the final setup.:cheer:

Let the Pro's sort it out...

hey rick, is the "1" key on your keyboard not working?

85 psi?

35/25jetting???

i think (HOPE) you mean 185 psi.

i recommended 125pilot/135main jetting and 32 lbs popoff with that stock f/a to start w/.

Wireless keyboards suck, need new batteries...

When it comes to carb jetting, I'm out of my league and so is Dave, so hopefully he takes it to Steve to sort out.

The size of the hole never really mattered to me before, until I stood up to ride!:cheer:
