to build hand pole...

So I'm new to the site and reasonably new to stand ups. I work at a machine shop and since I'm broke I figured I could build my own handpole for my superjet. Didn't know if anyone has done this. I plan on using aluminum tubing just don't know how big 2, 2.5, 3 inch? And placement and angle of the plate at the top. Any information would be greatly appreciated

please keep me in the loop for this . handle poles are stupid expensive and if you build a decent pole I would be highly interested to buy from you. as for angle I would say measure the angle of the stock pole and go with that. are you planning on shortening the pole any?

Buy an RN pole, shorten it, reinforce it. Lightest and cheapest option.

@brandon.griffin.102 yes, I plan on chopping off about 3 inches for the maiden voyage, and then keep cutting as needed
