its no problem at all on a 750sx, and its been done on 750sxis as well, although on teh sxi engines, msd recommends the retard module.

Dont run the advance plate with a MSD Enhancer on a 750 kaw motor. One or the other or your asking for a melt down. This is a known fact on the 750 engine.

im just going with a msd tl system, no advance plate or such. will it be alrite with a milled head?

it will or it wont totally dependant upon your timing curve.
the GOOD thing about msd total loss, is that you can dial in ALOT of initial advance on the engine, and then set your retard curve and slope to bring the timing back to a reasonable amount at the upper RPMS.

without the retard module it would have a problem, wouldnt you agree? Especially with 87 pump gas. They didnt have that(retard module) when the 750SX first came out. Peeps where buying the R&D advancer plate and putting it on with their Enhancers..

Anyways I dont care because TBH I hate Kawi's.:biggrin:
I had 5 of them(3 650SX's/750SX/750SXI) and that was enough of that..:smile:

You didnt specify with 87 octane in your inititial post.

I ran both on my 750sx ( with a pipe and head too)

and I recall MANY discussions about this on pwcyesterday about it as well, and there were folks running the 750sxi with both as well.'

Probably not something youd want to do with a dry pipe, and of course fuel, squish, and a few other things come into play.

But to plainly say that it cant be done, ist the full story.

Im done with Kawasakis too by the way, 2 more sitdowns that will hopefully leave my stable this year, and then im kawi free..

well i do not have the milled head on yet. i think the head will take me to 93 octane 170-180 psi, thats what i heard from the guy i got it from. but right now my stock head has about 150 in each.
