True, but if you completely cut the sides off then footholds are no longer an option.

MASTERBRIAN on PWCT once tried this with an X2. He ran into the problem of the pump shoe area/pump cavity being up inside of the seat area on an X2. So I think he scrapped it. There were pictures of it onthere but this was like 4-5 years ago.

I am interested in yours though!
