Tilt nozzle and steering mod ?'s

I got a 2014 sj last year. Of course, I hated the steering. I made the best of it for cheap temporarily and got the +50mm protect nozzle and tapped threads in the outter turn plate hole for more sensitivity. I am looking to get an xmetal pole and switch to pre 08 steering cable and need some blanks filled in so I know what all to order. First of all, is my protect nozzle useless if switch to older steering cable AND have a tilt nozzle set up? I want the old steering and tilt. Also, what is the best tilt system out there and is my wave raider style exit nozzle going to be useless when I do all of this? That's all I need to know I suppose. Thanks guys!

If you use xmetal trim you will you use your stock reduction nozzle. I'm not 100% on the steering nozzle. I bought their modified protec steering nozzle

I have a 2014 also and I still have the stock pole shortened 4". I'm running the pre08 steering cable with the schmitty mod and thrust ez flow pro trim on the inside hole of the nozzle and overall OVP steering. I use to have the RRP steering and I liked it too.

Right on! I was told by many people that you absolutely can't use the old style cables on +08 poles... Either way, I want the xmetal pole for strength and adjustability. sounds like I should go with all xmetal parts!
