Thread dates and Post numbers?

I noticed the thread dates and post numbers have been removed. Why did that happen?

And how would one do that? I have never seen a compatability mode on this site before. I wouldn't even know where to look

It's on your web browser, not this site. Look for an icon that looks like a broken page.
